I thought it was luck, at first, but I have played it three times since, and he has been just as easy, hence I came to the honest decision that Seymour Flux is overrated and unchallenging. I then attacked him until the auto-attack message came up when it was ready for Total Annihilation, and killed him before he even got the chance! I never got off a decent shot in the second half, but managed to win in overtime with Wakka's Venom Shot. So, I remebered when I first played Final Fantasy X, I remebr thinking "well, its not been very challenging up to now, has it?", and when I got to Mount Gagazet I started browsing GameFaq's for some walkthroughs, and in every single one, Seymour Flux was mentioned as one of, if not the hardest boss in the game! At this point, I was starting to worry, but anyways, I got everyones overdrives up, wondered around the mountain to make sure that I had everything I needed, and went on to fight him, with a boss walkthrough I printed off 3/4 of a page long! Using hastega from Tidus, and protect with Yuna, and then Silence Attack with Wakka, Seymour was pretty useless. You can do this same thing with Wakka, whose Venom Shot can also score. When he comes out to attack, pass past him to Tidus, try to manuever a little closer, use your special shot, and cross your fingers. When you get the ball in the second half, move Letty(since his pass is decent) to bait the bottom defender. Either will work if you can get close enough. Make sure Tidus gets enough EXP to level up.Īt the half, when Tidus levels up, he will get access to the Sphere Shot and the Jecht Shot(if you earned it on that boat).

Therefore, stall during the entire first half by turning on Manual control and just pass around. The Goers' goalie is too good for either Tidus or Datto to score without using a special move. I managed to beat the Goers on about my 3rd try, without the Jecht shot. I have never tried, but I am told it ios possible I have never tried, but I am told it ios possible. must be over five or six times ive gone through it now If i had a shot in, they make 2, if i got 0 in, they make one and win. Is there anything good to earn by beating the goers in the first blitzball game? Is it even possible? I always make it past half time and then they get bullshit shots right at the end. And Rikku as a mage and specialty character. Rikku into Lulu's but Yuna's would be just as well. Kimarhi was completely useless (because he just follows Lulu) until I moved him into Yuna's Section. I made Auron, Wakka, Tidus the fighters and just move them through each other's sections after their own are complete. Seymour will waste all his turns banishing Aeons which gives you a chance to attack again. Anyways the important thing is Aeon after Aeon after Aeon and then Overdrive after overdrive when the Aeons are banished. Then when the battle starts, cast Hastega with Tidus and Kimarhi's overdrive that protect's everyone (forget the name of it). Get all your characters and Aeons with their overdrives on full. Second I'm getting to the point where I have to start moving characters into new parts of the grid, and I wanted some advice on some successful moves.

How does she stop this.įirst I'm getting ready to fight that asshole Seymour the second time, and I wanted to know did ya'll have any tips on how to beat him. But then he follows up with Total Annihilation that wipes her out even though she has over 4k hit points on each char. He's casting cross cleave which she survives. She's in the Gagazet Mountains which are between the calm lands and Zanarkand. I'm on the phone with her and she says she's on the 3rd battle now with him. Once he summons Anima, you can see his overdrive meter fill up as you attack him.when it gets full, summon an Aeon to absorb the damage from Total Annihilation. Save your Aeons until Seymore summons Anima.otherwise, he'll dispel them after one round anyway, so unless you have their overdrive built up to hit him right away, it's not worth it. Coupla tips for that fight: Have Rikku steal from the two Guado guarding Seymore doing so will deplete them of their potions and prevent them from healing Seymore.

I think she's referring to the fight with Seymore, who summons Anima who's overdrive is Total Annihilation. She's got all her chars maxed out and in overdrive, and this thing oneshots her entire party. How the hell do you beat "Total Annihilation" ? I did that damn thing three times because I fucked it up the first two times.įrom everything that I've read though, the Knight's Lance isn't the special treasure in that temple.the chest that is blocking your way that you HAVE to open is You need the destruction sphere to open the end of the temple, but if you don't take the sphere with you to the end of the temple, you can't open the area to the Knight's Lance.
